These series of pictures were taken during a short outing session to the nearby Orchid Garden in the Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur. It was noon but the overcast clouds helped tone down the hot striking rays of intense sunlight.
It was my first intensive shooting using my macro lens (50mm). Hope to have another visit again but a little earlier in the morning.
The entry fee was only RM1 because it was on a weekend. Otherwise, it would have been free. I would recommend this place to those who plans to have a relaxed macro photo session.
Equipment used was Nikon D300 and 50mm f/3.5 macro lens.
